Due to business growth, we are looking for eCommerce Trading Manager - Australia, to join our iconic fashion house at our Aje Head Office
About this opportunity:
- Own day-to-day trading performance for AU & NZ sites, delivering sales, margin, conversion, and AOV targets
- Manage and deliver the AU & NZ trading calendar, including campaigns, launches, and promotions
- Lead weekly trade meetings with clear insights, risks, opportunities, and actions
- Monitor competitor activity and inform pricing, promotions, and trading actions
- Partner with Merchandising & Planning to align stock with demand and maximise sell-through
- Deliver weekly reforecasts and monthly performance updates for in-season decision-making
- Provide daily trading splits and key performance drivers
- Develop trading insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Ensure AU & NZ website is visually merchandised to brand standards and optimised for conversion
- Analyse customer behaviour via analytics and heatmaps to identify friction points
- Own commercial execution of A/B tests and CRO initiatives
- Drive a mobile-first, premium, and localised customer journey
- Brief Brand Visuals on AU & NZ content needs and product priorities
- Collaborate with Digital & Marketing to align trading with campaign performance
- Manage onsite campaign execution (banners, promo mechanics, navigation)
- Track campaign performance and recommend optimisations
- Partner with Digital Projects team on CRO, UX, and site enhancements
- Support QA and UAT testing for new features and site improvements
- Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Wholesale
- Manage and coach the Ecommerce Trading Coordinator, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
You will bring:
- Proven experience in ecommerce trading within fashion, retail, or luxury, ideally with AU & NZ markets exposure.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate into actionable trading decisions.
- Skilled in forecasting, reporting, and trade analysis, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify preferred), merchandising tools, and analytics (GA4, heatmaps, BI tools).
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across merchandising, marketing, operations, and creative.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with proven stakeholder management across merchandising, marketing, operations, and creative.
- Experience managing and developing junior team members.
