About this opportunity:
- Provide daily end-user support for hardware, software, and IT systems, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime
- Set up, configure, and decommission devices and hardware for new hires and departing staff, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Administer and manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including email, file sharing, and collaboration tools
- Oversee the local server room, ensuring servers and network equipment are maintained, monitored, and operating efficiently
- Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, to ensure reliable connectivity and performance
- Implement, monitor, and enforce cybersecurity protocols, including user education, access controls, regular security tests, and incident response procedures
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, configurations, and support procedures
- Collaborate with IT leadership to assess new technologies, recommend improvements, and participate in IT projects as needed
- Provide training and guidance to users on IT best practices, security awareness, and efficient use of company systems
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in IT support or system administration roles, preferably in environments using both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
- Strong knowledge of hardware setup, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Experience managing user onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and decommissioning
- Hands-on experience with local server room operations, including server maintenance and monitoring
- Solid understanding of network management, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and common network troubleshooting techniques
- Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
