About this opportunity:

• Under direction of the Head of Merchandise, develop and execute seasonal strategy for Aje, identifying key opportunities and tactical plans to deliver on financial goals.
• Plan Aje sales, stock levels, stock turn, margin and markdown and incorporating into annual budgeting process, to be signed off by Head of Merchandise.
• Undertake weekly projection to increase sales, margin, stock turn ensuring achievement of brand budgets.
• Manage and plan merchandise inventory positions and markdown strategies to drive Aje sales, inventory, profit and sell through objectives.
• Provide in-season financial projections and strategies, while identifying risks and opportunities to maximise profits.
• Responsible for providing Allocator with necessary guidance and direction to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Re-forecast sales in-season based on current performance, present revised projections, and recommendations to cross functional partners and senior leadership.
• Develop a cohesive and commercially robust range plans, by category, that aligns with Brand strategy and maximises sales and profitability of Aje, to be signed off the Head of Merchandise.
• Develop and manage OTB to meet financial targets for sales and inventory targets.
• Accountable for driving trade on a daily and weekly basis, chasing into strong reactions, and relentlessly seeding new ideas.
• Present detailed information regarding the Planning function in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.

You will bring:

• An established Merchandise Planner with 5+ years of relevant experience that can perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to drive success through creative and commercial thinking.
• Understanding of the fashion activewear and lifestyle market, with the ability to interpret trends and build ranges to ensure brand cohesion.
• Ability to evaluate financial indicators and translate data into actionable direction to drive sales and profitability.
• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude, including in-depth understanding of the Open-To-Buy and the financial metrics that drive it.
• Proficient in excel; demonstrated aptitude leveraging and learning new technology and tools.
• Strong ability to apply logic and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to solve problems and make informed decisions.
• Experience within activewear retail brands and/or in-house design team highly desirable.
• Previous experience with AP21, JOOR, Style Arcade preferable is also plus.
