Join icon fashion house Aje as a Business Application Specialist.
This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and owning end-to-end system maintenance, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of enterprise applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead technical integration of business applications, including ERP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across platforms
- Design, develop, and implement robust API solutions to enable secure and efficient communication between various applications and services
- Manage and execute end-to-end system upgrades, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-upgrade support to minimize business disruption
- Administer, maintain, and optimize core business applications and ERP systems, including user management, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Oversee database administration and backend support for business applications, ensuring high availability and performance
- Support on analyse business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions that align with organizational goals
- Extract, analyze, and report on data from business applications to support performance metrics and data-driven decision-making
- Ensure all integrations and systems comply with internal security standards, privacy regulations, and data protection laws
REQUIRED AND DESIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 - 5 year experience in business application integration, with strong knowledge of API protocols (REST, SOAP) and integration tools
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems administration, upgrades, and support. Prior experience with Apparel 21 will be beneficial.
- Proficiency in POS, cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google, AWS, Azure) and SaaS application integration
- Strong understanding of data analytics, SQL, and reporting tools
- Familiarity with privacy and security frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, or similar regulations
